Client: Hull Culture and Leisure

While most libraries across the country sign up to the national reading challenge, last year Hull Libraries decided to create its own challenge to celebrate Hull's year as the UK City of Culture 2017. We were chosen as the creative agency to lead on the project to encourage children in the city to read six books over the summer holiday. This included developing the challenge with local school children and subsequently it's Hull-themed illustrated characters and narrative. We wrote the content and oversaw the artwork creation and production of all marketing materials. We've recently completed the marketing materials for this year's circus-themed fREADom Quest about wonder, adventure and imagination for the children of Hull to enjoy.
